Apple Perpanjang Masa Gratis "Final Cut Pro X" Menjadi 3 Bulan

KOMPAS.com - Ada kabar baik bagi pengguna aplikasi edit video Final Cut Pro X. Pasalnya, Apple resmi memperpanjang masa trial alias uji coba gratis untuk aplikasi tersebut selama 90 hari atau tiga bulan.

Sebelumnya, Apple hanya memberikan trial selama 30 hari saja sebelum pengguna harus membayar untuk berlangganan. 

Sementara itu, bagi pengguna yang sudah terlanjur mengunduh uji coba gratis Final Cut Pro X selama 30 hari, akan mendapat perpanjangan waktu masa trial.

Tawaran ini terbatas dan kemungkinan, Apple akan mengembalikan masa trial triwulan ini ke standar trial 30 hari di waktu yang akan datang.

Setelah trial berakhir, pengguna harus membayar biaya berlangganan Final Cut Pro X sebesar 299 dollar AS (sekitar Rp 4,7 juta).  Tawaran ini berlaku bagi pengguna Final Cut Pro X di seluruh dunia.

Apple tidak cuma memperpanjang masa trial untuk Final Cut Pro X saja, seperti dirangkum KompasTekno dari Apple Insider, Senin (30/3/2020).

Perusahaaan yang bermarkas di Cupertino, AS itu juga berencana memperpanjang masa trial bagi pengguna software produksi musik, Logic Pro X dalam beberapa hari ke depan.

Namun, belum diketahui kapan perpanjangan masa trial untuk Logic Pro X akan mulai diberlakukan. Sebagaimana Final Cut Pro X, masa gratis 90 hari untuk Logic Pro X juga terbatas.

Setelah habis masa trial, pengguna harus membayar biaya berlangganan sebesar 199 dollar As (sekitar Rp 3,1 juta). Apple tidak menyebutkan secara pasti, kapan masa trial 90 hari untuk kedua aplikasi tersebut akan berakhir.

Ekstensi masa uji coba gratis Final Cut pro X dan Logic Pro X ini hadir di masa-masa social distancing atau jaga jarak aman yang dilakukan banyak negara di dunia untuk menghindari penularan virus corona.

Apple berharap, masa trial ini bisa dimanfaatkan oleh mereka yang harus bekerja atau berdiam diri di rumah.

"Kami harap pelanggan yang berada di rumah dan mencari sesuatu yang baru untuk dikuasai, bisa mencoba uji gratis ini," tulis Apple dalam pengumumannya, dihimpun dari The Verge.

Sekadar informasi, Final Cut Pro X adalah softare video editing yang konon banyak digunakan kalangan profesional. Software ini haya berjalan di platform MacOS saja.

Sementara Logic Pro X adalah software produksi musik yang banyak digunakan oleh musisi, music engineer, dan produser musik profesional.
