Eminem's ex-wife Kim's mother passed away in July of 2021, and that devastated Kim. The Sun reports that Kathy Sluck passed away on July 23rd and was survived by her two daughters, Kim and Dawn, with whom she had maintained very close relations. 7 Kim Attempted Suicide
Just one day after attending the funeral of her mother, the stress and pressure proved to be far too much for Kimberly Anne Scott. On July 30th, 2021, police were called to the 46-year-old's home in Michigan after having received reports of a suicidal person at the residence. Kim greeted the police aggressively when they arrived, and she had to be restrained by them due to her erratic behavior.
Reports indicate she was suffering from deep cuts on the backs of her legs and she was immediately rushed to the hospital to be treated for her injuries and to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. It was obvious that she had tried to take her own life, and her family was happy to see her return home where they could monitor her more closely.
