Heaven Taylor Obituary, Death – A TEENAGE GIRL HAS BEEN KILLED!!!!!!!!!
The Cook County Medical Examiner has determined that the teenage girl who was fatally stabbed in Downtown Chicago late the previous night was Heaven Taylor, who was 16 years old. At around 11:28 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, Chicago Police officers responded to complaints of a dispute and found a victim stabbed below the CTA Green line station located on Van Buren and Wabash.

Heaven was discovered lying on the ground with two stab wounds to the chest when they arrived at the scene. She was taken by ambulance to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where a medical examiner ruled her dead upon arrival. According to the CPD, Heaven and several of her friends went downtown, and while there, she got into an argument with another woman that turned physical. During the incident, the other woman pulled out a knife and stabbed Heaven before running away from the scene.

The family was provided with video evidence of the event, which the Chicago Police Department is currently investigating.
While Area 3 Detectives investigate the scene and study surveillance footage from adjacent cameras, no suspects have been taken into custody. Not only is this a sad tragedy for the family, but it is also incredibly upsetting for our staff here at #CCC. The previous year, we were live and covered a shooting that took place in front of the McDonald’s on 95th and Lafayette, which resulted in the shooting of a woman and two men. Heaven’s own mother and two brothers were among the victims, and Heaven’s eldest brother lost his life as a result of the shooting. Due to many shootings, including the one that occurred there, McDonald’s Corporation has decided to permanently close that restaurant. Heaven is survived by a boy who is 2 years old and a loving family. She was making progress toward achieving her goals of furthering her studies and concentrating on her ambitions while also making preparations for her forthcoming birthday. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the family at this difficult time.
