Does Pax era need to be cleaned?
PAX Era Pro batteries don’t need a whole lot of attention for cleaning. Dust out the pod port if you leave it out disconnected. If you’re like us, our Era Pro spends a lot of its time inside a pocket or purse.

How to Clean Your Pax. Cleaning your Pax could not be easier. Use the maintenance kit that came with your Pax 2, or, almost just as easy, pick up some 100% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol from the medicine store or supermarket, as well as some pipe cleaners.
What happens if you don’t clean your PAX?
Unless you regularly maintain your PAX by soaking the mouthpiece and applying mouthpiece lubricant, this will get more severe and your mouthpiece could eventually become jammed in place. The sliding ring that sits underneath the mouthpiece plastic helps latch your mouthpiece in the OFF position.
