Ryan Domitrovich Obituary, Death Cause – Louis Bernard “Big Louie” Dekker, 65, of Ledgeview, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2011, at his home. Prior to his death, he had fought cancer for a short time. Their son was born on December 6, 1945 in the community of Ontonagon, which is located in the state of Michigan, to the late Louis Dekker and the late Julia (Amich) Dekker. After completing his high school and college education in the same city, he obtained a degree in Biology from Northland College in Ashland, which is located in the state of Wisconsin. In Malone, Wisconsin, on September 27, 1969, he and Marie Vi Jensen exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Louis was employed with Proctor & Gamble for the better part of his working life.
He had a profound affection for his wife and children, and he was a very active athlete who also took delight in working in his garden with his tractor and trees, as well as spending time at the cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He also had a passion for growing trees. He is survived by his wife, Marie; his children Carie (Dr. Phil) Gallagher of Kansas, Craig Dekker of California, and Ryan Dekker of Florida, along with Ryan’s daughter Psalm; his sister Marie Robicheau of Friendship, Wisconsin; his brother Mike (Geraldine) Dekker of Caledonia, Illinois; and his brother-in-law, Neale Jensen of Malone, Wisconsin; and Psalm, Ryan’s daughter.
In addition, he is survived by particular members of his family, such as Caroline Smith, Laurie Smith, and Ken Smith; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, such as Cliff Baltz, Tim Bellow, Bob Bildings, John Domitrovich, Mark Schink, and Dave Rataczyk. He is also survived by special members of his extended family, such as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
