Times are always changing, what was deemed acceptable twenty years ago is by no standard the normal today, and that's the inevitability of life. The same thing goes for Hollywood standards. Some tropes, themes, stories and jokes just don't hit the same as they used to with today's audience or with repeat viewings. In some other cases, whole films can be categorized as downright offensive and unwatchable.
That's not to say that these movies were intentionally made that way, although some movies were always offensive, but they're just a product of their time and conditions. Fans can watch these film knowing what they're getting themselves into, others choose to skip them entirely. In the case of these films, they all became a thing of the past. Though they might have been at a certain point in time all the rave of Hollywood, the entertainment business has moved on to bigger and better things.

8 No One Gave Beauty And The Beast A Second Look, But Fans Should
Beauty and the Beast really is a tale as old as time, that might explain the weird narrative and story. On the surface, it seems that it's an innocent tale about the importance of inner beauty, strength, and resistance to ignorant societal norms. But the elephant, or rather beast in the room is the romance between Belle and an anthropomorphic animal, but no worries, he's a "prince." The tale is still adored and taken at face value with the likes of Emma Watson even being in the live action version. But if it was an original script, it likely wouldn't have made it to production.

7 Revenge Of The Nerds Can Be Seen As Problematic
The term nerd used to be an insult for bulling anyone who had even a remotely interesting or independent hobbies. However, the movie Revenge of The Nerds is full of problematic and misrepresentative stereotypes and tropes. Filled with racism, sexism, fat phobia, and "pranks" that are borderline sexual assault, the film is very problematic aside from its "positive" message it was trying to preach. A recent remake was canceled because well, fans don't need one.
